Throughout the month of August, 2025, we will be transitioning to a new grants portal. After our transition to the new portal by the end of August, your current login information and submitted applications and grant reports that have been saved to your account will no longer be available. We are offering two opportunities on July 15 and August 4 for you to attend a webinar with helpful how-tos on downloading the application and grant report history from your online account.

Responsive Competitive Grants for Nonprofits

The Foundation offers competitive grants to nonprofit organizations throughout the year, ranging in size from small grants and sponsorships to larger multi-year commitments. This flexible funding comes from unrestricted and preference funds established to respond to community needs in Greater New Haven.

Grant Programs and Deadlines

Small Business Grants from the New Haven Entrepreneurial Ecosystem (NHE3)

The Community Foundation Mission Investment Company's NHE3 is offering grants of up to $10,000 for for-profit businesses.

Applicants must be registered CT businesses with at least one year record of sales managed with a formal digital bookkeeping system; some restrictions apply.
