Grant Opportunity: Bridging the Skills Gap

Greater New Haven organizations working to bridge the skills gaps faced by members of the Latine community at all stages of life are invited to apply.

Bridging the Skills Gap

In the Latine community, there are barriers that prohibit academic and economic success. In order to address these barriers, the Progreso Latino Fund will award grants ranging from $3K - $10K to Greater New Haven organizations working to bridge the skills gaps faced by members of the Latine community at all stages of life. For youth, this might include closing the academic achievement gap through enrichment programs; for job seekers, providing training and employment preparedness like English literacy, soft skills preparation and certification programs; for families, providing access to beneficial programs and resources like budgeting, financial literacy, advocating for their children or elders, and homeownership tips; for seniors and others, closing the digital divide and accessing available services.
