Stock transfers

If you plan to use securities for charitable gifts, you are encouraged to make your request of gift transfers from your advisor well in advance of December 31^st in order to meet the deadlines of different brokerage firms. Stock transfer instructions and staff assistance are available.

The Community Foundation staff is available to personally assist you with your charitable giving through the end of the year. Gifts by check postmarked by Dec. 31 will be attributed to 2023 for tax purposes.
