Nonprofit Maker Space Sews Masks For Health Workers

Make Haven, the membership based maker space on Chapel Street, New Haven, may be physically shuttered by the coronavirus. But its members are pitching in remotely by making masks for frontline healthcare workers at Yale New Haven Hospital. The homemade masks are being used by workers treating non-COVID-19 patients, freeing up the N95 masks for workers treating infected patients.
