Briefings Invite Dialogue, Understanding and Action

The latest in a yearlong series of virtual briefings on federal actions and their impacts were held on immigration and health care.

In November, The Foundation held a panel discussion on health care, the latest in a yearlong series of virtual briefings on federal actions and their impacts. The online panel, moderated by The Community Foundation President & CEO Karen DuBois-Walton, explored recent changes to reproductive and maternal health care access, hospital and clinical service delivery and community-based supports. The 2025 briefing series brought together subject matter experts with local and national perspectives on how recent policy changes are affecting communities in Greater New Haven and beyond.

  • In January, DataHaven's Mark Abraham presented data from the DataHaven Community Wellbeing Survey, the largest local survey of its kind, which tracks how people feel about their communities and trends on key issues such as community vitality, health equity and family economic security.
