Even in an era of social media, the most effective marketing strategy is word of mouth. Regardless of your role – board, staff or volunteer – you can represent your organization more effectively and encourage positive buzz. Learn how to engage potential supporters, develop compelling messages, and deliver them effectively.
We will discuss:
- Listening: The most valuable communications skill.
- Shaping your message.
- Pitching your organization one on one.
- Public speaking without fear (well, with less fear).
A continental breakfast will be served at 8:30 a.m. and the workshop will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m.
Parking: The Blake Hotel offers 24-hour valet parking for $20. For self-parking, the closest garages are the George Street Garage across the street (81 George St.) and the nearby Crown Street Garage (213 Crown St.).
