Greater New Haven COVID-19 Community Relief and Recovery

In the early days of the pandemic, a Greater New Haven COVID-19 Community Fund was established on March 20, 2020 by The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven in partnership with the United Way of Greater New Haven. The fund was a community-wide effort to raise money to help Greater New Haven's nonprofit organizations and the people they serve affected by COVID-19. Prior to being retired in late 2021, the Fund awarded 221 grants to 164 organizations totaling over $4.3 million.
