About The Vineyard Project in New Haven
The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven launched The Vineyard Project in New Haven in July 2022 to celebrate the strength and excellence of the Black community. The Vineyard Project derives its name from the island of Martha's Vineyard, which has long been a community hub for African American families affirming Black history, legacy building and wealth creation through many enriching events. The Vineyard Project in New Haven aims to emulate that role by recognizing and amplifying the vibrant Black history and culture of our local community.
