In the next 5 years, an estimated $5T is expected to transfer to heirs, including significant retirement assets. This webinar will provide you with options within the SECURE Act 1.0 and 2.0 for your charitably-inclined clients who are grappling with managing retirement assets in their lifetime and beyond.  We’ll discuss:

  • Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCD) from IRA accounts – the basics, rules, tax implications and using a QCD for a gift that provides income.
  • Testamentary charitable giving tools that allow non-spousal beneficiaries to receive IRA proceeds over a lifetime instead of 10 years.
  • Relevant provisions of the SECURE Acts pertaining to charitable giving.
