Event Recap:

Ideas, Hopes for Our Region Shared at First Round of Community Conversations Sessions

Throughout the first half of 2025, The Community Foundation has hosted listening sessions across Greater New Haven with President and CEO Karen DuBois-Walton to gain insights and contributions from community members about the region’s challenges, opportunities and the role for philanthropy. Held both virtually and in person at locations in New Haven, West Haven, Hamden and Guilford, the facilitated sessions have each focused on a specific theme — arts and culture, education and workforce, health and affordability. At the conclusion of the series, The Foundation will compile the input and share the results with the community.

The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven invites you to a special listening series with our new President and CEO Karen DuBois-Walton
