In Greater New Haven, the Latine community is vibrant, growing, and full of potential. Now more than ever, we must unite to strengthen our collective voice, invest in our communities, and ensure our children inherit a future rich with opportunity and equity. 

The Progreso Latino Fund is more than a grantmaking program — it’s a movement led by the Progreso Latino Fund Advisory Committee, a dedicated group of local volunteer Latine leaders who understand our community’s needs firsthand. The Committee remains deeply connected to the community that informs us of the current needs. It goes both ways: as leaders, we bring knowledge and commitment, and as partners, we listen and respond to the voices of our community.

This leadership gives the Fund the flexibility to respond quickly and creatively by: 

• Supporting small, grassroots initiatives
• Providing emergency relief in times of crisis
• Creating educational opportunities for youth and families
• Fostering leadership and civic engagement
