The Bundy Fund derives its name from Chris' childhood trumpet.

Chris Caldwell was an amazing son, brother and father. He had many loves during his short 49 years on earth: his children, practicing law, fishing, golf and Christmas topping the list.

Anyone who knew him well, knew Chris had a heart of gold; he was the best friend and brother a sibling could have. His contagious laugh, quick wit and warm heart made him a friend to most everybody.

After earning a J.D. from John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Chris was admitted to the Bar of both CT and NY. He was a criminal defense lawyer until suffering a traumatic brain injury in 2012. He would live another four years before succumbing to a glioblastoma.

Chris was a staunch defender of the U.S. Constitution and advocate for those unable to advocate for themselves. He believed strongly in free speech and fourth amendment rights.

The focus of The Bundy Fund is to advance human freedom and dignity.
