The Bundy Fund

in memory of Christopher W. Caldwell, Esq.

An amazing son, brother and father, Chris Caldwell cultivated many loves during his 49 years on earth: practicing law, watching the Three Stooges and the Honeymooners, Civil War history, fishing, golf, watching his favorite sports teams (the Yankees, Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Rangers), Christmas and other holiday seasons, and most of all, spending time with his family and two children. Anyone who knew him well, knew Chris had a heart of gold and great sense of humor; he was the best friend and brother a sibling could have. His contagious laugh, quick wit and warm heart made him a friend to everybody.

After earning a JD from John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Chris was admitted into the CT and NY Bars and became a criminal defense attorney until incurring a traumatic brain injury in 2012. He was a staunch defender of the US Constitution and advocate for those unable to advocate for themselves. He believed strongly in free speech and fourth amendment rights. The Bundy Fund will make grants to organizations and causes that mattered to Chris during his life.

The concept of The Bundy Fund is to advance human freedom and dignity.

For inquiring minds...Chris played the trumpet (and drums) as a child; his first trumpet was a Bundy.
