Briefing Series Brings People Together
By Dotty Weston-Murphy / May 22, 2017

As part of our work with donors, The Foundation hosts a series of briefings about issues impacting our community. Now more than ever, we are ramping up this donor service so our community can come together and act together.

Featuring local and nonprofit community leaders, recent briefings have covered immigration, media, arts sustainability, health care access and mission related investing.

Our most recent briefing took place February 15, 2018, when  Connecticut Voices for Children Executive Director Ellen Shemitz, JD  led a discussion on "The State Budget and Pathways to Opportunity." Learn more about the Briefing here.

In addition to these briefings, we host a series of Community Breakfasts at The Foundation throughout the year.

If you are interested in learning more about our Donor Briefings or would like to attend one of our Community Breakfasts and learn how The Foundation works with people like you who give to our community, please contact me!
