Community Foundation President Appointed to CT Commission on Educational Achievement

Connecticut children now have another strong advocate in their corner for quality public education with the establishment of the Connecticut Commission on Educational Achievement.  Governor Jodi Rell signed an Executive Order March 5th to establish the Commission appointing Connecticut business leaders and professionals, including The Community Foundation's President Will Ginsberg.  The Commission will research why Connecticut has one of the largest achievement gaps between low-income students and their more affluent peers, and make recommendations to the Governor, lawmakers, relevant state and local institutions and the public on how to close it.
