Foundation Board Chair Distinguished With Honor

Congratulations to Community Foundation Board Chair, Bishop Theodore L. Brooks Sr., for being elected as the 3rd highest ranking bishop of the world’s oldest Pentecostal organization.



The Pentecostal Assemblies of the World (PAW), founded in 1906, is an international Pentecostal Christian denomination with over 2,200 congregations and a global membership of 1.3 million in over 20 countries and the Caribbean.  During its 95th Annual Convention at the Minneapolis Convention Center, Bishop Brooks, the Diocesan of the PAW’s Connecticut District Council, was selected the 2nd Assistant Presiding Prelate. He will serve in this capacity for a term of 4 years (2010 – 2014). 

Bishop Brooks serves and has served the PAW, Inc. in a number of notable capacities including:
  • Director, International Christian Education Association
  • Executive Vice President, Aenon Bible College
  • Chairman, PAW, Inc. Budget and Finance Committee
  • Member, Executive Board, Bishop’s Council
