In our region, we are fortunate to have a collaborative group of more than 35 public and private organizations and individuals working together to end homelessness, encourage self-sufficiency and ensure a permanent place to live for all residents in our community. Known as the Greater New Haven Regional Alliance to End Homelessness, this group is leading the effort to eliminate chronic homelessness, homelessness for veterans within five years, and homelessness for families within ten years throughout New Haven, East Haven, West Haven, North Haven, Hamden, Bethany, Orange, Woodbridge, Guilford, Madison, Branford, North Branford, and Milford.
