The Prosperity Foundation

The Prosperity Foundation

The Prosperity Foundation (TPF) is a new statewide community foundation established by and for the Black community within Connecticut. It is doing extensive outreach in Fairfield, New Haven and Hartford counties seeking to raise operating and endowment funds, and it made its first grants in early 2016.

TPF is an outgrowth of a fund established at The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven in 2010. The Community Foundation provides back-office services, including investment management services for TPF, and secured a $300,000 grant from the W. K. Kellogg Foundation in 2014 to support the start-up and early-stage growth of TPF.
