A visionary bequest from Nettie J. Dayton in 1928 was the first
gift to our community foundation. Ms. Dayton’s generous gift has had
far-reaching impact, generating more than one million dollars in grants.
And her legacy continues today and forever. We ask you to consider
following in her footsteps.
Your legacy gift may establish an endowed
fund in your or a loved one’s name or you may wish to add to an existing
endowment fund. Your legacy gift would support—in perpetuity—the
causes, organizations, and communities that are nearest and dearest to
your heart and values. We hope you will return the enclosed confidential
reply card so that we may welcome you to the Nettie J. Dayton Circle.
We hope you will allow us the honor of welcoming you to the Nettie J. Dayton Circle.
Very truly yours,

Shelly Saczynski William W. Ginsberg

Bequests:
The Community Foundation is a partner in the national Leave A Legacy®program. All of us have the ability to “make a difference in the lives that follow” by leaving a charitable legacy. A gift through your will can recognize loved ones and support issues important to you. It's so easy to make a bequest,
find out how.
Charitable Gift Annuities:
You can make a gift of cash or property to The Community Foundation now, get immediate tax benefits, and ensure that you or a loved one receive fixed quarterly or annual income payments for life. Learn more about
charitable gift annuities.
Charitable Remainder Trusts:
You can place cash or property in a trust that pays annual income to you (or another named beneficiary) for life. After your death, the remainder of the trust transfers to The Community Foundation and is placed into a charitable fund you have selected. You receive income tax benefits the year you establish your trust. Learn more about
charitable remainder trusts.
