Celebrating Connecticut’s African American Soldiers

During the month of February 2012, the West Haven Veteran’s Museum and Learning Center will be displaying uniforms, field gear medals and other artifacts of Connecticut’s African American soldiers who served in America's conflicts from the Civil War to World War II. Information will be provided about units, assignments and individual accomplishments. The display will last through the entire month; special celebration scheduled for:
