Community Foundation President & CEO, Will Ginsberg, was interviewed in January about the importance of local giving and the different roles the 84-year-old institution plays to strengthen the local community (scroll down to view the interview segment).

The Foundation manages the community's endowment, raises new charitable funds to insure the future of New Haven and remains the largest grantmaker in the region.

Chief among its activities is helping donors, such as the late Richard English, realize their charitable goals and establish a permanent legacy that will support the causes that matter most to them.

Joining Mr. Ginsberg was Elaine Carroll, Executive Director of the New Haven Symphony Orchestra, a Foundation grant recipient and beneficiary of the recently-established English Fund. Watch the video to learn more about The Community Foundation, the legacy of Mr. English and the impact the two will have on the future of New Haven.
