New Funds
In 2009–2010, donors established 87 new funds at The Community Foundation and its affiliate the Valley Community Foundation.
Donors can chose to establish one of six different types of funds at The Community Foundation. Each type offers its own advantages. While interests vary, donors find great value in the stewardship, personal attention, and financial benefits of creating a fund with us. A permanently endowed fund ensures that a donor's original gift to support the causes that matter most to him or her will grow year after year. That means that more charitable dollars can be distributed every year and forever.
