The Bitsie Clark Fund for the Arts was established by the original five Bitsie "proteges" (Barbara Lamb, Mimsie Coleman, Robin Golden, Betty Monz and Maryann Ott). It celebrates the contributions of and stewardship by Frances (Bitsie) Clark to the arts and cultural community of Greater New Haven. A Vassar grad, Bitsie served as executive director of the Arts Council of Greater New Haven for nearly two decades (1983-2002) and executive director of HomeHaven from 2011-2017.
